This workshop targets towards the techniques and architectures which provide the base for cloud computing and software as a service environments. The first day focuses on cluster architecture and planning. The comparison and selection of a suitable cluster filesystem or backend storage, operating system, monitoring and maintenance procedures and tools. The second day highlights the different virtualization technologies, their implementation and management.
